Head west towards Hellesdon mill and experience the peace and quiet of the broads with it’s winding river offering the chance to spot kingfisher, heron and otters.
Head east to explore the city by river. With multiple pub stops available to stop off at and relax including the Norwich VR room and the Ribs of Beef pub.
Norfolk is rich in its natural resources, not only does it showcase beautiful coastal beaches but it’s also home to over 125 miles of free-flowing rivers and broads system. So if you wish to hire a board and explore elsewhere, please just let us know beforehand.
Paddle within the designated limits of the River Wensum, where you are permitted to paddle between New Mills Yard and Hellesdon Mill on the River Wensum. Going outside of this jurisdiction will require a British canoeing or Broads authority toll license, which you yourself are solely responsible for. If you leave this permitted zone, you accept full responsibility for the licensing conditions implemented by the ruling authority and exempt Norwich Paddleboard Hire Limited from liability
